Multi-threaded NArrange

Hi, I was wondering if the current version of NArrange is already parallelized? I'd like to give it a go using .NET 4 if you don't mind.

Thanks for the tip Cory! I'll have to look into that as a deployment option.

Visual Studio 2010 Extension

Have you considered making the add-on an extension? Extension for 2010 are incredible easy to make. Plus users can search for them on Visual Studio Gallery (visualstudiogallery.com) and within the VS 2010 Extension Manger.

The extension can be hosted on Visual Studio Gallery for free and Visual Studio can notify users of updates automatically.

Thanks,

Cory

Arrange Inside Method

Here's another topic that should probably be reposted from an old Sourceforge thread to the new forum:

Jernej asked:

Does NArrange support arranging code inside method or did I just mised something?

Thanks, Jernej

And the reply:

Jernej,

NArrange currently has very limited support for arranging code inside a member (method, property, etc.). Right now, leading whitespace is cleaned up to match the tabbing style and consecutive blank lines can be stripped. Formatting functionality within members is somewhat restricted due to the way NArrange parses source files (i.e. does not parse down to the individual line level within members). However, line-level formatting and configuration options are being considered for future versions.

Due the original intent of NArrange, to reorder/group members in the class, line-level formatting functionality has always been a lower priority and was omitted for performance reasons. There are several other tools that can be used in conjunction with NArrange (e.g. Uncrustify or Visual Studio's Format Document tool), but you are right that it would be nice to have one tool to perform all C# formatting.

As it's something that I'd eventually like to see make it in, please let me know if there are any specific line-level formatting features/options you would like to see added to NArrange.

Thanks,
